Pannier and Polytec – Partners in Steel Tracking

Pannier Corporation is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Polytec USA, the US entity of the Italian BM Group, a leading global provider of automation solutions to the steel industry.

Pannier will manufacture their high temperature metal tags using Polytec’s patent-pending design for use in PolyTAG automatic hot steel tagging systems. Pannier will also be distributing the Polytec proprietary studs for attaching the metal tags to billets.

This new partnership, with a view to continuous innovation, will better serve the evolving North American steel market. Implementing automatic and immediate traceability to billets will eliminate the problem of mixed steel, taking one step closer to an error-free supply chain.
