Metal nameplate marking is fast and error-free with the ATF automatic plate marker. This benchtop laser marking system automatically marks metal plates and tags at least .020″ (.5 mm) thick. It uses a 6 Watt Nd:YAG laser for high quality engraving on bare and coated metal surfaces.
Automatic Tag Feed (ATF) System
The feed system uses adjustable guides to accommodate different size tags and plates. Once the guides are set, the operator loads a stack of plates into the input hopper. The feed system automatically moves each plate to the lasing area for marking, then the plate is moved to the bottom of the stack in the output hopper in first-in, first-out order.
Easy Setup and Data Entry
Use the simple and intuitive layout software to create as many marking formats as you like. Add text fields, bar code fields, and logos, then click and drag each field to move and resize them. Once a layout is complete, use the Preview function to see how the format will print on your plate.
Pannier’s ATF integration software makes data input a seamless part of your operation. Variable information for text or bar code fields can be accepted from a spreadsheet, a network file or data stream, or manual operator input. Once data is received, the system automatically begins marking.
